All games are played on Tuesday and start times are at 4:30 unless noted - we are looking to add a NC game for 2012. This would give us 6 games vs 5 games. We are also looking to add a scrimmage for 2012.

2011 Middle School Banquet
We will be celebrating this season's team and the hard work the boys have put in. We look forward to a fun night of fellowship and celebration @ Marleys. Thanks in advance for the generousity of the Morris Family for having us at their establishment for our annual banquet.

Arrival and socializing - 6:00 - 6:15
Dinner - 6:15 - 7:00
Banquet - 7:00 - 7:45
Closing and review of things to come in 2012 - 7:45 - 8:00
Note - There is no cost for the banquet. The only cost to parents would be any type of alcoholic beverages purchased. We ask that you help tip the wait staff at Marley's for their hard work.

Practice schedule will be out soon and we will start getting things organized for 2012 to keep players and parents informed.
NOTE - Weight room will continue to be open as follows rest of the school year and the boys are encouraged to attend 2-3 times per week

SPECIAL FB INCENTIVES IN OUR PROGRAM
Sack Award - We give out brown bags each week that have special meaning for those who go above and beyond to take a QB down and create a sack. Sack awards contain special treats and rewards for our kids. There is no limit to SACK awards so SACK away boys!!
Helmet Stickers - These are awards that are earned by teammates (entire unit, entire team or individuals) for doing a great job. They are footballs for offensive awards and skulls for defensive awards.
Offensive stickers - the following will earn offensive awards
1- Scoring a TD (team)
2- Winning a game (team)
3- Running back a KO or Punt (special team unit on field)
Defensive stickers - the following will earn defensive stickers
1- Recover a fumble after forcing one - must be forced fumble and recovery (defensive unit on field)
2- Interception - (individual)
3- (3) sacks in a game - (individual)
4- Shut out (team)
Hammer Award - This is a weekly award given to one of our FB players who displayed the art of being a hammer on the field (big block, big hit or loud thumping tackle are examples). We give out one SPECIAL hammer award weekly (7th or 8th grader - one award total per week) Students receive a hammer on a board and there name on it to make it very exciting. We also take their picture posing with their nice trophy. This award is voted on by the coaching staff.
