SQUAT, the BENCH PRESS, and the DEADLIFT – (2-3 platforms)

MEDALS FOR 1^ST – 5th IN VARSITY BOYS AND VARSITY GIRLS

(9th – 12th GRADE)    JV will also have medals 1^st – 3rd

1^ST & 2^ND  PLACE TEAM AWARDS – Boys & Girls

NEW - Combined Team Award ( Best combined male and female team (varsity) )

BEST LIFTER AWARDS – MALE & FEMALE – Wilks Formula

BEST SQUAT, BEST BENCH AND BEST DEADLIFT – Male & Female

RULES:                       

All U.S.A.P.L. rules concerning lifting procedures and judging for the squat, bench press, anddeadlift will be enforced.  Shorts and spandex are NOT acceptable.  No bench shirts.  NOTE:WHSPA rules require all lifters in 2011-2012 meets to wear a one piece lifting suit/singlet.  Lifterswill not be allowed to wear compression shirts at this meet.

9:00 TO 9:25                 RULES MEETING / WARM UP PERIOD

9:30 (APPROX)            LIFTING BEGINS - 2 PLATFORMS - (3 FLIGHTS PER PLATFORM)

ENTRY FEE:                 

$17 PER LIFTER PRIOR TO JANUARY 7TH - (or e-mail roster prior to January 7th.)

$20 PER LIFTER ON THE DAY OF THE MEET

$20 TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR COMBINED TEAM AWARD

DIVISIONS:                 

VARSITY & JV: GRADES 9 – 12   (JV lifters can be 9^th or 10^th graders only)
